For the first 2024 appearance of limited SEMXX series, Soul Ex Machina invites Grey.Scale, a UK-based producer currently residing in Mexico who previously appeared on SEM's compilation "Symbol LP", running his own imprint "Dead Pest recordings" and hosting regular show on Mode Radio London. Grey.scale's known for his compelling, fresh fusion of modern sound clarity and heavy foundation within the realm of dubstep music. Encapsulating a contemplation of thematic progression, reflective of cyclical elements and taking inspirations from vast genres and styles.

"Life Goes On" points to persistence despite adversities or changes. Within the context, the energy of this track persists through fluctuations and groove switches, mirroring the resilience inherent in life processes. "Rarefaction" suggests a sonic exploration of density change, where layers are stripped away to reveal a raw essence of style. This title hints at heaviness accompanied with ethereal, sparse auditory experience full of space and bass. Finally, "Ouroboros", the ancient symbol of a serpent eating its own tail, symbolizing cyclicality and infinity, feeding into the next in an endless loop of creation and destruction.
